How the compatible Hotek HTK Smart (3DES memory card) works
The Hotek HTK Smart (3DES memory card) is a 13.56 MHz high-frequency contactless credential read over the ISO/IEC 14443 air interface. Its data structure is Hotek Smart 'CSMART' encoding on 3DES memory card; 3DES. When you present a credential, the reader decodes that exact structure and passes it to your access-control panel as a card number it recognises.
Because the Hotek HTK Smart (3DES memory card) is a secured smart credential, it is designed so the encryption keys stay under your control. We supply compatible blank credentials built on the matching 13.56 MHz ISO 14443-A memory card platform, ready for your access-control system or integrator to enrol exactly as it would credentials ordered through the original vendor's channel.
