How the compatible EM4233 / Skidata (ISO 15693) works
The EM4233 / Skidata (ISO 15693) is a 13.56 MHz high-frequency contactless credential read over the ISO/IEC 14443 air interface. Its data structure is ISO 15693; 8-byte UID; ~52 blocks (Skidata variant, IC ID 0x09); password/EAS + proprietary Skidata commands. When you present a credential, the reader decodes that exact structure and passes it to your access-control panel as a card number it recognises.
As a programmable blank, the EM4233 / Skidata (ISO 15693) is the raw material the rest of the catalogue is built on. We supply it factory-fresh and rewritable on the 13.56 MHz smart card (ISO/IEC 14443-A) platform, so you — or we — can encode it to emulate the proximity format your readers expect.
